Why would anyone want a faithful remake of an objectively rushed game?

This is the DP beta from March 2006. Just look how much stuff they had to do in the last 5 months leading to release.

>Story/Scenario is barely done, only up to the second gym
>Maps are mostly empty
>Battle engine is still very rough and even slower
>80% of the new Pokémon are missing
>All trainer rosters from the final game missing

This developer crunch may explain the baffling decisions made in DP such as:
>Plain, dull enviroments
>Slow surf speed
>Insane level jump at the league
>Shitty regional dex and Pokémon distribution
>Shitty trainer rosters
All of which were fixed in Platinum. BDSP is a regression and an absolute waste of potential.
