The music for example is absolute dogshit, it's painfully linear compared to prefious games when it's supposedly a series of islands, the new gimmick was utter dogshit compared to even mega evolutions. Trials were meh at best. Every Gen 7 Pokémon were slow as fuck, some evos for mons that you catch early could only be acquired at the end of the game. Customization was shallow as shit, “post-game” is lacking and exp share makes the game laughably easy. Apart from Decidueye, the starters look like shit. The Festival plaza is the worst online system for a Pokemon game, even worse after we just had the PSS.
The story was alright for a Pokemon game, some new Pokemon looked really cool. Gen 7 are just absolute dogshit games compared to previous Pokemon games, maybe they are better than XY, but that's not saying much.
