>>48634292The issue I've seen though is if a better pokemon gets a mega that fills the same roll as a shit mon why would you ever choose to use the shit mon? Like the only one I can imagine this not including is Sableye since his Mega was an actually well designed concept where both the base and mega abilities are good leading to you needing to actually think.
Also imo for some of the shit mons a mega was really unnecessary considering they would've been viable even with simple changes (most obvious example of this: Mawile just being given +20 to both defenses and replacing one of its abilities with Huge Power)
