They had grown desperate as bankruptcy approached them and found me to be an easy prey item. Giving me a copy of a game the had been working on, the ratted my computer so that they could steal details off of it and get into my bank account. They never got into my bank account because I didn't use that computer for banking(I like to do my banking in person, I'm weird,) but it was still a stupidly scummy move.
