I cannot think of a game series as stagnant and averse to change as Pokemon is. It's actually mind-boggling.

Le mystery regional champion who is le revealed at le end to be le "character"
Professor fart telling you he's a professor and that we live in a society of pokemon and are you a boy
The npc at the gym door who's always cheering you on for some reason
8 gyms + 4 elites + 1 champion
Getting hm fly and surf midway through the single player
Fire water grass starter
Pseudo legendary dragon in the end-ish cave region

Every single pokeshit game has these they have not changed since 1995 at all lol
They just palette swap the monsters and names and you all act like there's any difference
