all going back to sprites would do at this point is make game freak cut the national dex even more to get the games out in time for the holidays, because sprites are more time-consuming than just importing the models that creatures inc already made for them. if dragging and dropping premade models is too hard for them nowadays, returning to sprites would be an absolute shitshow.
