In Colosseum/Battle Revolution, when a large pokemon was present their positions on the field would adjust so they were all further away from each other.
That said, GF went way too aggressive on the max size limits of how big something could be, and I prefer the old way even if it means the camera has to cut and pan to each pokemon during attack animations.
