>>48643458This is what bothers me a lot. Their animations and poses used to be very animal-like, and had resemblance to their nature counterparts. That was what was so appealing to me. Now they are very static and every pose looks the same. Persian for example had so many different poses up to gen 5 that were very cat-like. Now all he does is stand on all fours. Don't get me started on his ugly-ass garfield remodel in Sun and Moon. The highlight of his character was resembling much like a cat in real life and they turned him into a fucking cartoon. They do the same shit with the eevee line, and number of bird Pokemon who are either flying statically or shouldn't be flying at all (Xatu). Many of the older Pokemon's charm got removed because of this. Psyduck doesn't even hold his head anymore.
