I was just on Twitter (yes I know, only use it for art and shit) and I checked out the BDSP tag out of curiosity; while I'm not vocal about my loathing of the current standard of Pokémon games BDSP is truly a mess, in direct contrast to the gold standard of other remakes. We get less for more now, and I feel it's genuinely obvious seeing such. My question is: why do people on Twitter-and even here as well-defend it so violently? Is it to be a contrarian, because they genuinely like and are excited for the games(which is fine), or other reasons? Please /vp/, since this is an anonymous site, tell me why you defend BDSP. I'm not here to attack, I just want information.
