ORAS at least had 721 Pokemon as compared to the 386 of RSE. BDSP has 493 Pokemon while DPPt had... 493 Pokemon. ORAS were shit remakes, but at least there's more reason to play ORAS over Emerald than there is to play BDSP over Platinum.

These games didn't have stuff like Dialga or Wailord. Make a correctly scaled Wailord follow you and it will either get stuck everywhere, clip through everything, or crush half the buildings in the game.

Platinum is literally just DP with the battle frontier. It didn't even speed up the game or remove HMs. Either DP are good and so is Platinum or none of them are good.

Okay so it fixed the distribution. Yeah that's a good change. What else exactly? I know it has graphical improvements, better teams for trainers, different UI etc. But I'm talking about changes that substantially make the game different enough, other than the changes i already mentioned?

I never said Platinum was god tier. I said DP was trash and Platinum was decent. It still had the marsh, snow, 8 HMs and slowness of Sinnoh of course. I won't deny that. But the Sinnoh in Platinum was at least a little more vibrant.
