Yes. People typically buy these to get pokes and move combos from them that you can't get elsewhere. These are usually either people who haven't put CFW on their 3DS or just want to play Pokemon games on real cartridges, otherwise they would be installing the 3D games from cias or use TwilightMenu or an R4i for DS games.

Why should Nintendo lower their prices? For some people the price point gives it more appeal making it feel like what it is, a luxury item. Video games have never been a commodity so if you can’t afford them don’t buy them

it's as easy as flipping on an easily accessible setting in the hub screen to fix it
I've played Platinum, HeartGold, and BW/BW2 on it and it runs like butter so I imagine Diamond wouldn't be an issue

This. I bought Pokemon Pearl last year or so CIB for like 17 dollars from a nice Canadian woman on eBay no less. If these people cared enough to get a good experience they'd know to look harder than the first place that comes to mind but these are fucking Pokemon fans we're talling about. They'll eat up any dog shit product with the brand name on it. You're wasting your time trying to get through to them because it will not happen. I tried for teo years to show how shit pokemon was now to people and they refused to listen and only threw back flimsy arguments like "let people like things" and "you will never be satisfied." All I want is for them to donit fucking right, and they managed to for 17 years, so there's no excuse.

if I wanted a new game console I was expected to help out with the cost by trading in an old one and it was the DS's turn...
and now I'm fucking kicking myself over it because most of the games are over 3x the original price no matter where I look online or in-person, besides obvious Chinese knockoffs (and I want to be able to trade between copies)
