As much as this board aggressively shits on the hand that feeds them, game development is tremendously difficult and time consuming, trying to maintain all the NPC and item interactions alone will drive you completely insane. There’s a reason every “Pokemon but ebin” project you see is actually a video and not a real game, it’s easier to make something that looks nice than to make something that IS nice. This board is autistic and wholly more incompetent than GF or ILCA, I have no doubt in my mind there would be at least one dev team suicide over the bed shitting that would be a /vp/ 3D remake of any game in the series.
