Dialogue, team, dex, graphical, texture, cutscene, water, battle, exp, and affection changes definitely aren’t coming at all, though I think the gym leader and e4 rematch teams will most likely be their platinum teams unless that’s been deconfirmed. Even then, no way any amount of patches will save this from being one of the worst entries in the series. Good music and a cool title screen won’t save it, a remake of Diamond and Pearl was always gonna be bad because they’ve always been bad, I just think the [battle] music and title screen are so obviously placeholders.
