What is realistically the absolute bare minimum that they can put into a Pokemon game and still have it sell millions? How much more can they cut and still get away with it? Keep in mind realistically so don't say "release just a plastic box with the logo".

Honestly it'd be nice if it required a lot of effort to cause that to happen, but knowing Gamefreak, it'll be pretty damn easy. Maybe a held item that just automatically causes it.

We saw it works with C&C Remastered(which, ignoring all of the optional content, is literally the same game with a new frontend) and I'm even happy with it, so... They should probably throw in other goodies though.

It'll start with minimisation of side areas. Then it will be reduction of route side paths. The removal of routes and wild/trainer encounters found in a menu option. All items.you may have found in the routes will just be given by npcs in town.

Gen 1 remake except it's all the Red/green sprites in 3d in all their ugliness and it's complete with all the glitches, bugs, and programming errors that Gen 1 had. Literally buggier than Fallout 76 was at launch, probably crashes your switch for the first week of release until a patch goes out, but /vp/ would eat it up and call it sovl because they're a bunch of drooling retards blinded by nostalgia.
