It's pretty well known that Gens 2 & 3 are very easy to mod now, and Gen 4 is on its' way. Plus, there's hacks for Explorers of Sky now, too. What other games have a modding scene? Is there anything for the Ranger games?

Literally no reason to even mod those games
At best, you could have a touchscreen rape romhack that makes each capture take 99 loops

A challenge update hack would actually be interesting, since the ranger games tend to be pretty easy. Adding Fairy-types and an assist for them would also be cool.
