>>48664494If the game didn't give you megas until closer to the end and was just a little bit more difficult, I think people would've liked it a bit more honestly. It's my favorite region designwise, and the entire dex has maybe 2 shitters (florges and aromatisse). Character designs are great(shame about how they were used), and the regional gimmicks were also nice. There was a lot of side content to do that everyone seems to forget, like your popularity level in Lumiose giving you more access to stuff, like restaurants, shops, and even cheaper cab fare. It was also the first game to introduce customization, which was fucking awesome. Kalos also looks great too, Cyllage city, anistar city, shalour city, snowbelle city, coumarine city, and let's not forget lumiose city, are all some of my favorite towns. The routes also linked together naturally based on their region in Kalos, which leads to quite a diverse region as a whole, but one that never feels disconnected like Alola or Galar do. It's a shame the game was rushed and never got its third version, because if it got it, gen 6 would probably be regarded far better than it is now.
