Starting off, just got the 2nd badge in Pokemon Vega Minus. I was not expecting a Nidoking or a Hitmonchan. Nearly pushed my shit in, but my team managed to secure the win.
Unfortunately the level curve is still kind of dogshit, but less so than without the Minus patch. Hopefully its relatively smooth sailing from here.

My favorites are water, bug, fairy and grass
Least favorite, fire, poison and ice
I don't like most fire types, I don't like poison types having a low special defense along with being weak to psychic, I like how ice types look but that's about it

Since i've beaten pokemon platinum with only Shedinja, i decided to go through the other generations with only Shedinja. I finally got past brock after literally trying for the past 3 hours. Sand-Attack is what finally let me win.

Trying out Fused Dimensions. It's pretty neat so far, and NidoranM is fused with Electrike, making a sick-ass Electric/Poison type. Good thing that Ground types are a myth, right?

I wish Ground types were a myth. I'm currently getting filtered by a Skarmory with Drill Run from the evil team. Currently training a 2nd Intimidate mon and Willisp, which has Levitate, as a replacement for Swellow so I can pivot and have a chance to actually do damage.
I really should just cheat in rare candies if possible, but I have autism and don't want to yet

FUCK yeah we back to wade through the endless doomposting and coping shitstorm.
I was doing a crystal nuzlocke last time we had a thread, well I beat Clair.
My team is poliwrath, scizor, jolteon, crobat, swinub. Probably adding either onix, rhyhorn or tentacruel as my final member to help with the elite four. Snorlax looks like a good pick for Kanto. I’m pretty confident I can stomp Red with this team if I don’t go in too underleveled. More worried about Lance honestly.
I’m also playing let’s go pikachu on the side. It’s a fun game. Very comfy. Why couldn’t BDSP have visuals like this?

You're gonna have to level up really hard to beat them, since you don't get any usable SE moves aside from a potential HP Psychic. Maybe something gimmicky with Sand Attack/Spite?

Favorite types to use would definitely be water types because surf is just so easy to spam and they’re literally always good. I am partial to fire and grass types also. Just feels right to have a fire/water/grass.
I hate using pure ground types. Ground/rock is badass, pure ground is anus. Also mostly bug types are a waste of time it seems to me. You really really have to like them for it to be worth it. For the most part, mainly talking about early game ones.

Electric types tend to be very fast and hit really hard. Obviously there are exceptions like Magnezone being slow and Pikaclones being pretty weak, but I'm never sad to have an electric type on my team.

Ice and Dragon usually end up showing up way too late into the game for me to put one on my team, and in the case of dragons usually take forever to evolve so I'm stuck with a Noibat or Zweilous for way too long.

I'm mainly interested in the type changes because I get really autistic with dual-type Pokemon and have a "challenge" I made up for it where you match types in the party like pic related.
Plus I just love teambuilding in general, thanks to Clover.

There's plenty of choices for teambuilding. I've currently got 4 mons with zero repeated types, so you get great choices. There's even stuff like Grass/Electric as seen with Piddish and a Grass/Fire Chimsprout.

Sounds incredibly based, can't wait to try it out. I'm taking a break from grinding in Vega Minus to give my thumb a rest from speeding up. I think if it acts up again I'm just going to see if I can get unlimited Rare Candies.

There are a few problems, namely that the dex is totally fucked. There's also a massively increased shiny chance, likely to show off how cool these shinies are, and it does have Mega Evolution, so that could be a turn-off if you don't like mega evolutions. The biggest flaw, though, is that it has the SwSh style Exp. share, complete with not being able to turn it off. That's why I'm so overlevelled.

That's totally fair, and probably why it's in to be honest. I like to have a small party size, so I'm trying to just catch stuff I know I wanna use, like Roggenrola/Machop and Electrike/NidoranM. Hopefully I can find a Grass/Flying type, and some sort of cool Ice and/or Dragon type.

Beat the third gym. I made the right call with getting the Willisp and using pivots for the evil team admin fight. Kinda played like shit vs the Water-type Gym Leader and I predicted the wrong Water-type Pokemon, but Swellow and this Baizeast I caught earlier are pretty good.

It's probably either A. They spent a bunch of time making shiny palates and wanted to show it off, or B. because they want people to be able to get shinies without grinding for weeks on end. Kinda reduces the value of them, but these can't be used in any other game so this is fine to me.

idk, according to the pokecommunity post, its 1/400 for that hack.
Personally, I'm fine with 1/4096, 1/2048, or 1/1024, because anything less than that just bloats encounters with shinies.
I guess in that game it's purpose is to show off the shiny sprites

Thoughts on the game so far is that it's not really living up to the hype. Less than half the fakemons are remotely interesting, and goddamn it was that one anon right about Mosmero being annoying.
