BDSP is weird, overall it's a disappointing game in lots of aspects but still ends up being one of the most fun pokemon games in years.

I don't even know why, I guess I hated SM and SWSH more than I thought. I actually enjoy running through the routes and having the smaller selection of pokemon again from back then. If this game was a remake of platinum they would've had a real winner, but right now people are just taking what they can get.

From what I've heard, affection doesn't "cap" if you don't have following pokemon enabled, following pokemon just makes affection grow much faster. The fact that I have to use herbs to prevent battles from becoming baby mode is one of the many reasons I'm not buying this shitty game

All these builds fucking reek of people who have no idea how the game works trying to copy Smogon sets without completely plagiarizing them. Some of the quirks are really minor like Rampardos going Adamant when it could go Brave but others are just really fucking bad.

I was genuinely impressed by this game, and Pokken, even though it's not my thing. I'd love to see them hand over a mainline game (maybe not mon designs, but pretty much all other facets), and see what they come up with. Just a new suite of idle animations where monsters would look more aggressive and maybe pace around a bit would do wonders
