I'm calling it now. Gen 9's entire gimmick is going to be fusions but its going to be limited to a select set of the gen 9 pokemon, and a few pokemon from previous gens.

Seems apt. Pokemon already copied Super Saiyan from DBZ with Megas. I wouldn't put this past them. Can't really think of any other gimmick except riding Pokemon or some shit

It's going to be an Yugioh Arc V tier plot where you travel to multiple dimensions each based on a battle style (Mega/Z-Move/Dynamax) before reaching fusion.
