if BDSP added Frontier + the missing 4 gens of Pokémon would you buy it? what else additional would get you to look past the horrendous graphics and extra handholdiness of new gen games?

Of course. If the base game had the missing 4 gens pre patch I would still buy it. Pokemon are the most important part of Pokemon.
