Anon please. I was a former Doomfag, but even I can admit I was wrong when I said the OST wasn’t going to be patched in. And then the fact that mythical events are in the game, the legendary hunt is actually a legendary hunt like in Crown Tundra, and all the Platinum stuff + more makes these games far more appealing than they ever were pre-leak season.

can anyone catch me up to speed on what all has been confirmed to actually be in? Last i heard theres a shaymin event and rematches that makes the elite 4 actually challenging, but i wasnt aware of any platinum content or the OST being patched

The entire OST has been patched in, the MIDI stuff was actually just a placeholder. Gym Leader, Elite 4, and Champion rematches are back with two tiers now and they have full competitive teams. All Mythical events are in the game except Arceus’ data is nearly completely wiped. Ramanas Park is the new Legendary capture feature with actual requirements needed to find the slates in order to battle them. Distortion World is back as a smaller location with a Giratina Lvl 100 boss battle. Rotom’s room in the Galactic Hideout is back. Swarm encounters are now overworld encounters. DS Sounds feature that’s like GB Sounds from HGSS except it’s the actual original soundtrack and not recreations. Underground encounters have several Gen 1-4 Pokémon including Fire-types, and it expands after you complete the game. And every QOL change from SWSH including Ability Patch, Bottle Caps, etc. is in the game. Finally the games have data for Unova, Kalos, Alola, and Galar so a future update may let you transfer Gen 5-8 Pokémon from Home to BDSP

And there’s also pic related that doesn’t currently have a function which may be tied to a future update.
