This is my favorite facility in the whole game series. Nothing is more kino than seeing which rentals are available to pick. It offers a different kind of experience that you can't get in the main campaign. Yes there is a lot of RNG, but randomness can be fun, like playing a card game (not OHKOs though, they should be removed in this mode).
The strategy is great too because you get to choose if you want to keep one of your rentals or swap it with the previous opponent's based on a hint.
What I like the most about this facility is the balance. At the beginning you are only given NFEs and weaker Pokémon like Plusle that you wouldn't think of using. Since you can choose your own Pokémon in the other facilities, the first few streaks you can just streamroll because of your Pokémon's superior base stats, but this doesn't happen nearly as much in the factory. There were loads of times where my ass was saved by Pokémon that I'd otherwise consider shitmons.
