Crazy that it's been 3 years and 3 games and they BY FAR look the best.

Playing is a different story, they really are like babies first Pokemon game and strip away so many things that even Red and Blue had. It's very much a catch 151 Pokemon simulator rather than go on cool adventure game with your bros kinda game.

I think SW/SH is probably the most playable Switch game just because of its online features but that's not saying much because it's still dog shit.

Man what a depressing era for Pokemon.

I've always thought LGPE had pretty good art direction and I never understood why people didn't agree. They conflated gameplay with art direction/style and that's not how it works.
