i actually liked parts of gen 8, i liked most of the pokemon designs, and trainer designs, I didn't like the wild area at all, I didn't like the pacing, I didn't like the dexcut thing. The dlc was okay but overall a very very weak pokemon game

Meh. I think most people hate the generation in which they first have a growing out phase of Pokemon. Gen 8 came out when I was 19. While I don't hate Galar, it's my least favorite gen
