Have you just accepted the fact the game will always an eyesore. No matter how many patches, updates, bug fixes and tweaks this is the gen 4 remake and it will forever look like an eyesore. Its fucking ugly.

I think it looks cute. I can’t deny that a lot of the animations are bad and the disparity between the art direction of following Pokemon and the rest of the world is jarring, ugly, and inexcusable. Plus abandoning the perfectly done scaling already handed to them by HGSS is super lame to see. I would say this game looks worse than LGPE but better than most of SwSh. I can see why people hate the chibis but I still think they’re a lot more faithful to the original game’s art style than most people care to admit.
