Your level is the problem (they're using the updated catching mechanics from SWSH where being below the level of a wild Pokémon makes it much harder to catch)
Send out something that's also Lv45 and your problem will disappear.

The calculator failed to refresh properly. I've tried it and it goes down to fuckin 8% if you're level 44. This is ridiculous, it bumps down from 45% to goddamn 8% just because of some fucking invisible mechanic that makes absolutely no fucking sense. What's the fucking purpose of this bullshit?

That doesn’t make any sense at all, the wild area just flat out doesn’t let you throw balls at significantly overleveled mons, why would they slap such a retarded mechanic on top? That’s a much better way to handle it than dropping the catch rate to palkia’s for the dire crime of trying to catch a mon one level higher.

I did a 0 exp run on SWSH before and that fucking retarded invisible mechanic drove me so mad that I just injected 999 masterballs.
