If this rumor is true then we can get the option of picking between the forms. And honesty I'm pretty excited about the new rumored fighting form despite fighting type being a bit of a downgrade compared ghost type since a 4× weakness to flying is bad but being able to hit dark + steel types is amazing. Fighting types tend to get a lot of coverage moves to hit flying types, not to mention decidueye learns sucker punch via level up so psychic types aren't too much of a problem either but poison types will be a road block. Plus, what are the odds of the fighting form giving the original one a new fighting move? Specifically his signature move

initially i feel disappointed about the new typing, but i guess typing doesnt really matter as much in the arceus game compared to the main games as theres no online play. I think if the new form can look really cool that will be great. although i think decidueye looks really good like how it is now.

I think most people in here feel the same. Giving Typhlosion and samurott ghost and dark types respectively sounds like a upgrade and I can't even imagine how you would make a ghost typhlosion look terrible. But decidueye already has a good design and type(not saying grass/fighting is the worst type combination they could've gave him) but it is a slight downgrade compared to grass/ghost and the potential to ruin his design is always clouding our minds. But, from all if the designs we've gotten from Legends Arceus so far I feel confident that game freak pull it off. Just as long as it doesn't deviate to much from regular Decidueye.

Typhlosion’s dex mentions how it obscures itself with its heat. I picture the Fire/Ghost Hisuan form looking like a Typhlosion made of it smoke with a hazy outline possible with glowing orange eyes.

As for Samurott. Water/Dark makes me think it will be based around the concept of Samurai testing swords on peasants(pretty much what the move Night Slash/Cross-Road Killing is)

I really hope it’s true that we can pick between the forms, because that means that the originals forms will more than likely get new moves so help them keep up.
