Mudkip for the worst only because Marshtomp is the weakest design out of their lines. Treecko's line has the most consistently appealing designs.

Treecko's is probably the worst because of RSE's low versatility for Grass types and Sceptile's meager movepool. Mudkip's line is the best since Swampert can crush nearly every opponent in the game with its only obstacles being Milotic, Kingdra, and Ludicolo.

I am literally surprised to see this on /vp/. Usually when I comment that Gen 3 and 4 have the best starter trios, people always mention how they hate Blaziken for being furbait or whatever.

The only one I straight up don't like is Blaziken.

Grovyle is my favorite overall, Sceptile looks kind of dumpy
Swampert is nice but not my favorite
Blaziken i've never liked, not because its furbait or anything i've just disliked it since I was a kid for no particular reason

I would blame Infernape for that. The Chimchar line could have been something brand new like Blaziken was, but they fucked it up.

Final evo's what matters, Mudkip line takes it far as I'm concerned, but all three are top tier.
