You can actually take advantage of this. It checks the last few digets of the PIDs of all the pokemon in your PC to see if they match a number that increases every day. Since your timer is dead the number it checks against is always the same and you can RNG a pokemon with an aplicable PID. I found it one day just surfing around Sky Pillar not knowing how rare it was for decades thinking it was just some cool thing. Picked up all the items and berries. I only encountered little gay ass Wynauts then left and never looked back. Still don't see the hype aside from how rare it is and some berry for gay little contests
