Yeah, pretty stacked in Diamond's favor. Only real advantages for Pearl are Sableye and Lugia.

Mime Jr. and Mr. Mime were exclusive to Diamond. What happened? I guess it doesn't matter too much since Bonsly and Sudowoodo are only temporarily exclusive, but still. Maybe it's a mistake.

Literally NONE of what you listed for Pearl are relevant except Ninetales now with Hidden Ability maybe, Salamence and Zapdos. So that's 3-4 for Pearl.
For Diamond, Scizor Gliscor Arcanine Tyranitar Entei and Suicune and Ho-Oh>Lugia for regenerator. So minimum 7. If you count Raikou (I don't) 8. Moxie Honchkrow 9. Plus Dialga > Palkia. Diamond BTFOs pearl all day.

Yes.

I had to be generous with a couple of the Pearl guys, but they're at least all good enough as considerations in competitive play. But Butterfree is indisputable.

One thing that autistically bothers me more than it should is the fact they broke the Pinsir - Scyther pair.
We could have had a Pinsir evo (big dark) to go with Scizor (bug steel) and Heracross (big fighting).
