why do they dropped the dynamax mechanic so quickly?

it's weird that the remakes released in the same gen dont use it unlike oras

Gen 9 better not have any gimmicks besides regional variants. Just new Pokémon and no Charizard would be good enough for me

Dynamax is a galar only gimmick like Z-moves were for alola
Mega gimmick introduced an entirely different timeline, so you can make the older games with it

When will we stop reading that stupid timeline theory? Only because of one sentence in ORAS when a character says "imagine a world were Pokemon are different". She is talking about our world and real animals.

The only time Pokemon really dealt with alternate timelines was in USUM in the Rainbow Rocket postgame.

I think Alola and USUM were kind of fine, but Z-moves sucked balls. Worst gimmick of the whole series.

Because Mega Evolution is stronger than Dynamax, Ash Ketchum proved it by using Mega Evolution to beat Gigantomax.
