Granted the sequel, which came out on Switch too (but PC too so why even bother) looks leagues better but I haven't played it yet.

The sequel is MUCH better. The battle system is actually learnable and has a good amount of strategy involved now.

You should play the game. The MC is called YOUNG MAN much to the ire of literal tranny reviewers. If you like the gameplay of Persona but hated how it's padded out by more cutscenes than SM/USUM, then you'll like SMTV.

SMT 5 being a switch exclusive is a crime. Switchlets don't deserve such a good game since they're fine with cancer like BDSP
Also, reminder that SMT 5 got undeservedly compared to personashit in reviews but BDSP won't be compared to platinum because of nintendo bonus
