With BDSP including an exp share that cannot be toggled on or off, there have been many arguments in support of the feature and against it. I thought maybe it would do well to have a thread to discuss your opinions on it.

I personally have no problem with the EXP share itself but I can very much see why many anons would at the very least like the function to be able to turn it on or off. Personally, I do not wish to grind every single mon manually, especially if they start off a bit shitty like magikarp, togepi and so on. It’s not to say that I dislike the core gameplay so much that I just want everything to be easier, but it makes it a lot less tedious grinding everyone in my party, and I can appreciate that.

In a way, it kind of reminds me of the repel. There are times where I want to encounter Pokémon and times I don’t. It doesn’t mean I don’t want to play the game, I just don’t want to be hassled by having to constantly run from battles.
