Later on, putting them into Home and withdrawing back will also reset affection

Yes, the way forced affection was implemented is awful atm, and you have to sacrifice following to get rid of Amie
major flaw
But it is still possible to get rid of of affection in-game without using hacked version.

This. It sucks I can’t use following pokemon and that I have to go out of my way playing a specific way as to not trigger the amie stuff, but it’s not that bad! Since we have herbs you can remove it if you use them by fainting your pokemon then reviving them. It’s nice that Masuda allowed for us to turn off amie this way. Although maybe we need to wait for the day 3 patch before we start saying this is a flaw for BDSP. I think they’re going to patch it out soon
