>>48730867You were made to feel like part of the world. But these games don’t. Gen 5 had one of the biggest post games ever with many lovable supporting features. How does a 9 year old game on the DS do more for the player at less of a cost than a now 2 year old game does on the Switch? These games are XY tier, but they cost more and are on more powerful hardware. When GF transitioned to 3D, I gave them the benefit of the doubt but this is their third generation on 3D, and they are still messing up. The story and world should be inviting to the player, not a drag to go through. This should not be baby’s first JRPG with graphics that other developers would have used on the 3DS.
Joe Merrick is not the best at indicating quality; he is letting his personal bias for U.K. get the better of him, and he plays hundreds of hours of mediocre Pokémon spin-offs so often he can’t tell left from right.
Oh, and Runerigus. The most convoluted Pokémon to get. For some reason, GF made it almost impossible to encounter in the wild, only being locked behind a 1 percent 5 star raid in a very specific den (event shinies are easier to get than a Runerigus den). And you have to fulfill the most asinine requirement just to evolve a Galarian Yamask that ruins integration of the game. Take it to a specific spot in the Wild Area after it lost specific amount of HP in a battle and evolve it. This game introduced a lot of weird item evolutions that are barely even farmable. Good luck getting Alcremie sweets; they are hard to get even with the DLC. Good luck getting Apples in the main story. Yeah, that b.s. is still in the game.
