There was an anime OST that used to play occasionally back in the Kanto/Johto series that was really emotional. Two episodes off the top of my head I can remember hearing it were Meowth Rules and Fly Me to the Moon. It's NOT Tears After Cloudy Weather (which was also gutpunching), it was more subdued than that one. It often played in the same scenes as that track, though.
