Instead of remaking the first games of a generation, why don't they remake the enhanced version? Instead of ORAS make Emerald and instead of BDSP make Platinum. Those are the games people actually liked, not the first 2.

They could remake and sell 3 copies of the same game by locking Dialga and Palkia into their versions. I believe Masuda is not putting enough bugs in his staff

To get Diagla or Palkia in Platinum you just needed their Orbs in postgame
Emerald was similar.

They were never an excuse to not remake 3rd version. All they had to do was remake the features and story the lock other legend behind versions

I would have liked an expanded distortion world. Platinum did the bear minimum to make it just a setpiece, this remake even less.

Remaking the game from scratch already takes about 95% of the effort. What's it matter to just add the last handful of content from third version. For platinum this is just the distortion world episode, battle frontier, and looker. Also a couple towns have a few extra decorations. They already added back pal park in a way, and fucks sake they already made the distortion world assets for origin forme's battle
