Because I still own Platinum, which is the superior game for enjoying Sinnoh.
Also these games are not only bad, they're useless; competitive is still played on SWSH and in two months from now Legends will be the newest, single player entry of the franchise.

That glitch seems like something that can happen in the base game, I think it occurs from the Pokemon constantly being teleported from being left behind or getting stuck, so the Pokemon just goes back into it's idle stance lol.
