That's because they do. Let's Go is like a point in-between XY-ORAS and SM-USUM but in HD, then SwSh is like SM-UM but in HD.
BDSM is like an uncanny valley between BW-B2W2 and XY-ORAS in HD.

I'm not a fan of the plastic sheen SWSH characters have. Really clashes with the more detailed world. Hope gen 9 can strike a better balance

Let's Go had a smaller scale to work with. I still think 151 monsters per region is a bit light nowadays, but you can't deny that they had more time to touch stuff up.
