The hard working staff at Game Freak gave you the option to buy Kung-Pooh for half the price of the game when they didn't need to. Would you rather have nothing? How would a third version even works anyway when the legends are a duo and not a trio? Usually third version has the story changed to focus on the third legend. Sword shield does not have this.

Third version is the physical +expansion pass. And honestly if you have the cash to spare you probably want to get it in the next year or two. Because the lowest it's been sold at retail new is $79.99 on Amazon in spring. While gamestop has it for $79.99 used now.

Also you should probably be prepared for Gamefreak to go with this model in the future. Which means be prepared for the physical (((third version))) to cost around $90 again.

How would the story work then? Main story is already a raid battle witn you, hop, and the two legends. How do you adf calrex in? Make it a special 5v1 just for the climax? What about the main legend you catch? You the main player catch calrex in galar instead of COT? What about Hop? He get zacian or zamazenta or none?
