Why wasn;t anyone curious about why Ash was so late or wondering why he was on Rocket's balloon?
Why couldn't they take a rain check since this was clearly an extenuating circumstance?
Why couldn't they at least let Ash switch his team instead of making him fight with exhausted Pokemon

Why was the most important battle in the series thus far crammed into the last 3 minutes of the episode? Why was so much time wasted on Rocket shenanigans?
The battle was just lame, only 3 on 3? Mostly just tackling each other? Where's the creativity Ash typically shows? Tobias having a Darkrai in the Sinnoh league was bullshit but at least Ash was able to put up a good fight. Even shit like BURASTO BANN had spectacle. This was just lame as fuck.
