It's not fun when literally nothing can go wrong in a fight unless you bring Pokemon that you haven't trained at all into it.
Then, the lack of ANYTHING from Platinum fucking blows. It's just a better game.
Lastly, the lack of Pokemon from beyond Gen 4 is super fucking lame, even if it would have been postgame only.
If there's one thing I do like about BD/SP, it's how much faster everything is vs an actual Gen 4 game. It's mitigated in modern times by just having an emulator with fast forward, but fucking hell, Gen 4 was really slow. Playing original D/P is suffering, and Platinum very barely fixed things.
