>>48746568>Wanting things to not be super popular isn’t a hipster thing. It’s the fact that when something gets popular the faceless corporations selling their product will do everything in its power to keep it popular even if it’s at the expense of the product itself.Pure doomer outlook. When something I like gets popular it means that there are more people who enjoy what I enjoy and therefore more people to talk about it with and share those enjoyable experiences with.
>Nowadays we have more companies putting out buggy shitty low effort games just to make a quick buck. That's got more to do with corporatism driving companies to make bigger, more advanced games on tighter deadlines with crunch out the ass. You try making a game where you work overtime constantly and barely sleep.
>We literally just had Todd release Skyrim AGAIN but this time it’s bloated with fucking Creation Club modsAt this point I'm just convinced he's in on the meme and running with it, but I'm not going to buy it since I own both the original and special edition (latter was free since I had the legendary edition of the former). If something's popular, why not keep selling it or offer new variations for new customers? Hell, pokemon's been doing this since its inception with third games.
>R* just handed 3 beloved GTA games to a shitty mobile port developer to only produce some half assed trilogy.Rockstar's been on the decline for a while now, but even with the hackers online in GTAV that literally caused me to bleed bags of money I found more amusment in that than I did any other game in the franchise.
As long as I can find fun in a game, I'm going to enjoy that game, and I can't really say I hate a game unless I genuinely cannot find anything enjoyable about it which is a very tough thing for me to do - it's why gen 5 stands out to me, I genuinely cannot find anything fun in gen 5 of pokemon. They're by far my least-played games in the franchise because I just can't get any enjoyment.
