It feels like a grand adventure where you can ride around on your bros, have them follow you, see the real pokemon in the real world, none of this random encounters dogshit that's always been annoying, and honestly I think its the best looking pokemon game they've ever made in 3D.
So what if they made the catching mechanics GO instead of mainline? I could give two fucks, I actually like it more. Sure, sometimes working hard for a catch and getting it juuuuust to the right HP and having your status mon ready and getting that clutch catch was a great feeling, but 99% of the time I just want that fucker in the ball already so I can check off my dex, and I'm not going to use him.
OH WAIT there's a genius exp system designed for let's go that allows you to swap out party members and actually have fun with some bros you might never have used with minimal effort!
Sure, you could use parasect in Yellow or FRLG, but its gonna be painful sometimes. And once you commit to him early game you might have to grind if you would rather use a different team. Let's go eliminated that problem completely. You are 100% free to swap your party at any time and you won't suffer for it. You're having a comfy adventure, no bullshit, no slow down, no grinding, fuck that fucking shit.
