im thinking of doing pic related for bd. i heard you can get gligar/scyther/togepi in underground pretty early

Flying is almost always super viable. you wont have any issues

chech this chart and look at platinum for reference, in case you were considering other types

Yeah I did a Mono Fire team in Platinum earlier this year.

It seems like Gliscor is post game due to the Razor Fang being post game

I've done quite a of them so far, all of them in Pokemon White 2 with Challenge Mode on, and with some liberties applied so I can try out some mons than be restricted to the local dex. I'm planning on covering all 17 types in Gen V, with only eight done with the ninth in progress/hiatus right now. I haven't done Flying yet, but give or take due to the massive type diversity there's a lot you can do with them offensively and defensively so long as you know how to cover your greatest weaknesses.

It was definitely one of the more fun runs (it was my first run), especially with the diversity of mons for Unova. I had a team of Leavanny, Heracross, Crustle, Escavalier, Galvantula, and Volcarona, and due to the large type diversity it didn't really feel samey when using each mon which made it feel like a unique team to use. The largest issue however is that it's one of two types (the other being Fire) which doesn't have access to Surf meaning traversing the handful of required water areas is a bitch to go through

I did an all-fighting type run of emerald once.
Pelliper was just an hm slave.
I also for whatever reason gave all my them nicknames with "ass" in them. Assburner, Assfungus, Fatass, Smartass, and Assrammer.
Please understand I was like 12 or 13.

You're going to have a rough time if that's your mono flying team. It might sound crazy, but if you're dead set on that being your team then I highly recommend playing on Set because it will actually make it slightly easier on you when avoiding those quad weaknesses.
