It may not a Flying Pokemon, but it is a flying Pokemon. It's constantly in the air, so Earthquake hitting it clearly isn't canon and is just gameplay bullshit.

Flying energy isn't what makes a Flying Pokemon immune to Ground attacks, it's the fact that they're in the fucking air. The fact that Flying type Pokemon lose their immunity when they're touching the ground (Gravity, Smack Down, Thousand Arrows, etc.) proves this.

Yes it is?

The move descriptions clearly state that the Pokemon are knocked down to the ground. AKA they're no longer in the air, so they can no longer dodge Ground type moves.
