Do we have any idea how much longer Pokémon Bank will be supported?

My 3DS died a few years ago and I decided to buy a new one, I'm hoping Bank has another 3+ years at least.

I have a Switch OLED, I wish I could hack it. Especially to use docked settings in handheld mode.
