We have to consider the context in which each game was reviewed. Thinking that a third version released after 2 years is going to be rated with the same standards as a remake from 15 years ago simply is naive, and that the ranking system won't take into consideration the standalone game experience regardless, especially if a lot of the critiques in Emerald are 'it's just the same as RS except for____'
