Pretty much. It's just sad that even ORAS managed to keep up with the bare minimum whereas Gen 7 and 8 just stopped trying.
XYORAS are literal garbage, it's not hard to surpass them and yet they refuse to do so.

Homeless girl who just wants to be loved gets taken in by Looker and he helps educate her.
