With HOME support coming to BDSP and PLA in 2022 and Hisui having a unique text line for the "where did this pokemon come from" part of the info screen, odds are we'll see those 63 added into the BDSP dex over the next couple of years.

Eh, if its entirely sprite-based, no. With models its also doable but it might become a bit harder(models ARE there though, just not attacks or any animation that would be useful for contests).
Day-care could complicate things depending on how its implemented.

This is me, except I had a LivingDex, a Genderdex, and a formdex to boot. I'dve done the same with shiny dexes, but that's mega autismo and even I don't have that kind of weaponized autism for something of that caliber.
Worst part of it is I completed it all on the eve of the discovery that not all pokemon would be available in Sw/Sh.

Well the way it worked with Let's Go if you moved a poke from there to home it could go back to Let's Go but if it goes into SWSH it could never go back to Let's Go. Maybe that feature you mentioned to only receive from original DP is so they won't have to deal with stuff like DP dex pokes in beast balls or with ribbons not programmed in the game?

This. All the starters. ALL of them should have been programmed in. They're the mons that people are most likely to have sentimental attachments to. I'm surprised the most by greninja, im not a huge fan personally but i thought it was like a fan favorite. Aside from the starters though most of the other mons are complete shit, I'm glad they left the monkeys to rot, but at least they should have added eelektross and vivillion lines.

It bugs me, too. I originally enjoyed having my living dex in the latest game. However, I won't lie, I have adjusted to HOME as a sort of "protection" plan because I genuinely feel a bit safer now that in the event my Switch breaks or whatever, I didn't lose a decade's worth of work.

I have no idea if my saves are in some cloud, I don't check for that shit.

Based. I genuinely believe the half-assed DLC they released for SwSh blinded a lot of people to the fact that a lot of pokemon are still missing simply because their favorites made it in the end. I'm still pissed about it, though. Even after two rounds of PAID DLC half of my primary team is still missing.
